February 1996
We are back stage at The Jazz Café, Camden. There are a few people rustling around us but who cares, this is going to print! We didn’t need to worry too much about noise on the recording as the intention never was to broadcast. UK Vibe had locked down Leon Ware for the next issue, but sadly the next issue never was. Just like all the other printed magazines that fell due to costs, UK Vibe had to pull the plug.
So here we are, some years later, on line and digging out from the archives some ‘new’ bits from the past.
Listen then to our Bill Randal, with the knowledge necessary to do justice to this giant, providing a tremendous interview.
For now, let us call this part one. There is still a little diggin’ to be done!
